According to the spirit of the"Policy Measures for Breakthrough Development of Private Economy(Trial)"issued by the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee and Government,the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee,the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee,the Municipal Economic and Information Commission,and the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce jointly organized the Wuhan Federation of Industry and Commerce to rank these two rankings based on the business revenue of enterprises in 2017,while respecting the independent declaration of enterprises and the recommendation of various districts and chambers of commerce.
Through the analysis of the main business data of the listed enterprises,we have also unlocked the"password"for the high-quality development of Wuhan private enterprises in the previous year.

Joining the Billion Club
The entry threshold for the 2018 Wuhan Top 100 Private Enterprises(with total revenue)is 951 million yuan(the entry threshold for the Top 50 Private Enterprises in the Manufacturing Industry is 506 million yuan).
In terms of total revenue,16 enterprises have joined the billions of clubs,an increase of 5 compared to last year.

35 manufacturing enterprises
Local manufacturing private enterprises accelerated their transformation and upgrading in 2017.From the perspective of the high-tech level of manufacturing enterprises,out of the 35 manufacturing enterprises that entered the 2018 Wuhan Top 100 Private Enterprises list,14 were recognized as high-tech enterprises.Among the top 50 private enterprise manufacturing companies in Wuhan in 2018,21 have been recognized as high-tech enterprises.
The most"burning"enterprise
Take 1 yuan for every 4 yuan of income to engage in research and development
The innovation efforts of local private enterprises continue to increase,and the highest proportion of research and development funds in operating revenue is Gaode Infrared,accounting for 24.39%,which is equivalent to spending 1 yuan on research and development for every 4 yuan of revenue.
A group of private innovative enterprises are becoming leaders in the new economy,represented by Douyu,Curly Net,Zebra Run,and others.Taking Douyu as an example,a total of 7 billion yuan has been invested,equivalent to the total financing of similar enterprises in a region.It has grown into the largest online live streaming platform in the country and is continuously expanding and splitting upstream and downstream through the"live streaming+"model.Douyu ranked 99th among the top 100 private enterprises in Wuhan last year and has jumped to 62nd this year.

On average,each household pays over 200 million yuan in taxes
The tax amount and the number of employees accommodated are the two most intuitive indicators reflecting the social contribution of enterprises.
From the perspective of total tax payment,the top 100 private enterprises achieved a total tax payment of 22.698 billion yuan in 2017,an increase of 18.99%compared to their 19.075 billion yuan in 2016,slightly higher than the growth rate of operating income.
In terms of the number of employees,the top 100 private enterprises accommodated a total of 386097 employees in 2017,an increase of 8.23%compared to 356737 in 2016.
